Chief U.S. diplomat on Europe to visit Turkey, three Caucasus countries

The State Department’s top official for Europe will visit Azerbaijan,
Georgia, Armenia and Turkey next week.
Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried will meet with Azerbaijani
officials Monday and Tuesday, discussing democracy, Nagorno-Karabakh
and other issues.
He flies to Georgia on Tuesday, Armenia on Wednesday and will be in
Turkey Thursday and Friday.
