The police also note that in addition, while temporarily performing the duties of the accountant of the Dilijan security department, the former accountant of the Ijevan security department paid him 4 million 522 thousand 448 drams in May-August 2017, which was fully recovered. The former accountant of the Tavush Conservation Department overpaid a total of 380 thousand 857 drams to his salary account during the months of January-November 2016 and 2017, which was later fully recovered. The total recovered amount is 43 million 396 thousand 986 drams.

“Taking into account the fact that in the internal security department of the police, sufficient factual data were obtained by the official investigation regarding the presence of apparent criminal characteristics in the actions of the officials performing the state special service and the embezzlement of the above-mentioned amounts through embezzlement, the materials of the official investigation were sent to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia in order to give a criminal-legal evaluation of their actions,” the message said.
