ARMENIAN WRESTLER WINS GOLD, DEDICATES VICTORY TO THE MEMORY OF GENOCIDE VICTIMS

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Arsen Julfalakyan won a gold medal at
the “Dan Kolov and Nikola Petov” annual international championship
held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

2014 world champion Julfalakyan beat Ivan Georgiev of Bulgaria 2:0
in the final. Another Armenian wrestler Karapet Chalyan won a bronze
medal in the same 75 kg weight category.

Arsen Julfalakyan wore a T-shirt commemorating the Armenian Genocide
centennial at the award ceremony. He posted the photos on Facebook
and said he dedicates the victory to the 1.5 million victims.
