PROSPEROUS ARMENIA IS OPPOSITION PARTY NOW

The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has officially announced its
retirement to the opposition, the chairman of the party and the head
of the parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan said at today’s meeting
of the Armenian parliament.

“Given article 14 of the National Assembly regulations, I declare
Prosperous Armenia to be an opposition party,” RIA Novosti cited
Zohrabyan as saying.

Earlier, Prosperous Armenia had positioned itself as an “alternative
to government.”
