INTELLECTUALS ARE DESPERATE – NIKOLAY TSATURYAN

An intellectual is a person with sensitive soul, he is on other
platform, Armenia’s people’s artist, theatrical figure Nikolay
Tsaturyan told at a news conference today.
In his words there are people with more sensitive soul than he, but
he cannot bear the atmosphere existing in our country. “When I turn
on TV and see who is talking on TV, what is being said I do not want
believe that they are ruling us. I do not want to leave the house as
the atmosphere outside is not clean,” he said.
Tsaturyan said today the intellectuals are in despair, they are sitting
silently as they feel that this is not their homeland. “The homeland
belongs to oligarchs, an oligarch is not a bad thing a rich person
may be engaged in politics but when a thumb force comes up you start
feeling bad. That is why the intelligence is not shining,” he said,
adding that the death equalizes all.
