Armenia’s minister of agriculture discusses food safety with Russian experts
YEREVAN, January 29. /ARKA/. Armenia’s minister of agriculture Sergo
Karapetyan discussed food safety issues with members of the Russian
veterinary and phyto-sanitary inspectorate (Rosselkhoznadzor)
delegation headed by Nikolay Makievskiy.
The sides talked about cooperation to ensure safety of food and
veterinary supervision in organizations, the press office of the
ministry reported.
The Russian experts are in Armenia for joint visits to companies
producing food from animals and for making recommendations to Armenian
colleagues.
Joint visits started on January 26 and will last till February 6.
The meeting at the ministry was attended also by the head of the state
food safety service Armen Hayrapetyan and the head of veterinary
inspectorate Hovhannes Lazarian. -0–
