SON OF KOTAYK’S EX-GOVERNOR ELECTED AS CHARENTSAVAN MAYOR

Mayor’s election was held in Charentsavan, Armenia, on 14 December.
Hakob Shahgeldyan, the son of Kovalenko Shahgeldyan, ex-governor of
Kotayk region, was the only candidate to the given position.
The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia told ArmInfo, Shahgeldyan
was elected with 9096 votes out of 21,938.
