ARMENIA MUST GET AS MUCH AS IT CAN FROM CURRENT SITUATION – MP

The EEU-related processes appear to have entered a “bargaining phase,”
and Armenia, following Kazakhstan and Belarus, should enter this phase
as well, Heritage parliamentary group member Alexander Arzumanyan
stated in Armenia’s Parliament on Monday.

“Our partners are seeking to get as much as they can from Russia, and
ratifying the treaty on Armenia’s accession will be the ‘exchange’,”
the MP said.

“We, too, should try to get as much as we can,” Mr Arzumanyan added.

Amid the globally changing situation, Armenia should not be in hasty.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev unveiled his country’s
intention to give the green light to Armenia’s Eurasian Economic Union
integration as he met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev
in Astana.
