Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian leads the international chess
tournament World Mind Games (being held in Beijing, China) after
celebrating victory over Azebraijan’s Shakhriyar Mammadyarov.
The Armenian chess star gained advantages over the rival in a fast
match in the second round.
Earlier, Aronian had evened his scores with Russia’s Alexander
Grishchuk; in the second round, he defeated Perez Dominguez (Cuba).
The sportsman, now scoring 2.5, is the sole leader of the tournament
after three rounds.
