Three freedom fighters have been beaten in Armenia in the last three
days. Today a group of freedom fighters gathered in Yerevan to decide
their future actions.
Razmik Petrosyan, the commander of Aparan regiment and Manvel
Yeghiazaryan, the commander of Arabo regiment, were together when
they were attacked by 10 young people. The freedom fighters say the
attack was ordered by the authorities.
“They are following us because we speak against the ruling
authorities. They want to silence us, but let them bear in mind that
it is impossible to threaten freedom fighters,” said Mr Petrosyan.
“Now that Azerbaijan sends saboteurs, they [authorities] send commandos
to threaten freedom fighters. What do they want to say by this?” added
Manvel Yeghiazaryan.
