A criminal case has been instituted in connection with the death of
a serviceman in one of Nagorno-Karabakh’s military units.

According to the Information and Public Relations Department of
Armenia’s Investigation Committee, the probe will be conducted
on part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (“Causing
somebody to commit suicide or make an attempt at a suicide by indirect
willfulness or by negligence, by means of threat, cruel treatment or
regular humiliation of one’s dignity”).

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s Defense Ministry, Artur
Margaryan, a 19-year-old conscript serving in the Defense Army, was
found dead with a fatal wound in the chest at one of the military
units on Thursday afternoon.
