ST. PAUL ARMENIAN CHURCH IN FRESNO HAS INSTALLATION CEREMONY FOR NEW PASTOR

The annual fall banquet at St. Paul Armenian Church in Fresno on Nov.

16 was quite a blessing to parishioners and others in attendance.

Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, primate of the Western Diocese of the
Armenian Church, officiated at an installation ceremony for the Rev.

Yessai Bedros, the new pastor of St. Paul Armenian Church. Bedros
was named in the summer.

The Khachadourian Choir of Los Angeles also made a rare appearance
in Fresno, filling the church with the Gomidas Vartabed melodies of
the Divine Liturgy.

On behalf of the Choir Association of the Western Diocese, Lucy
Tashjian also presented an award to Ben Krikorian for 50 years of
service as the organist of St. Paul Armenian Church.
