AZERBAIJAN HINDERS SPREAD OF INFORMATION ABOUT ARTSAKH (VIDEO)

The movie on the official website of “Voice of America”, which
tells about the present of Karabakh, has been qualified by the
MFA of Azerbaijan to have a nature of “separatism, occupation and
aggression”. According to Azerbaijani media, this was announced by
MFA representative Hikmet Hajiev.
MFA complained that the point of view of so called “Azerbaijani
community” in Nagorno Karabakh wasn’t taken into consideration in
the video. They think that “Voice of America”, which always spreads
objective news, must cover the present situation of refugees and
forced migrants objectively. Azerbaijanis considered that movie as
violation of rights of refugees.
It must be stressed that in the movie “Karabakh: peaceful life
near the ghosts of war” made by “Voice of America”, Artsakh present
life, problems and challenges are presented objectively. This act by
Azerbaijan may be considered as the hindrance of spread of unbiased
information about Artsakh in authoritative international media and
violation of freedom of speech.
