jeu son titre de champion du monde WBO des poids moyens face au
Britannique Paul Smith (35 victoires et 4 défaites). P. Smith, ancien
“DJ” de Liverpool et ami de Wayne Rooney n’a pu concrétiser sa
première chance à un titre mondial. C’est fort logiquement en 12
rounds et aux points (les trois jugent donnaient l’Arménien vainqueur)
qu’Arthur Abraham a conservé sa ceinture mondiale. Depuis sa
reconquête du titre mondiale, c’était la deuxième fois qu’Arthur
Abraham remettait ce titre en jeu. Abraham a récolté la 41e victoire
de sa carrière qui compte quatre défaites.
