Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that “since
2011, we have not had any significant progress” in NK peace process.

“The failure of the Kazan talks by Azerbaijan was the last haven.
There were no corrections or additions to the document after that”,
Serzh Sargsyan said this talking to members of the journalists’ team
at “Baze (“Hawk”) -2014″.

According to the President, Armenia’s efforts are aimed at
Azerbaijan’s recognition of the NK people’s right of determination of
their own fate.

“We do not have another issue and want it to take place in a peaceful
way and not at the cost of new victims. I should say that I do not see
any considerable progress in the negotiations process but the talks
are underway”, said the Armenian President.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
