ORINATS YERKIR RALLY: ONLY FEW SUPPORTERS GATHERED IN LIBERTY SQUARE

YEREVAN. – The Armenian citizens should not pay higher price for
electricity just because some companies have shortcomings in their
work, deputy chairman of Orinats Yerkir party Mher Shahgeldyan said
during the rally on Friday.

“Rise in electricity price is unacceptable,” he said, addressing
several dozens of party’s supporters. Mher Shahgeldyan they can do
so that electricity price would not go up from August 1.

Orinats Yerkir consistently pointed to the fact that the heat did
not stop them from gathering in Liberty Square.

Although the demonstration has already started, the square is nearly
empty, and only members of Orinats Yerkir are present.
