CHORRORD ISHKHANUTYUN: NO NEED FOR SCIENCE IN ARMENIA SOON?

Armenia’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan
signed a decree dissolving the chemistry division of the Development
Department.
The reason is that Armenia does not need chemistry. One of the
division’s functions was working out a strategy of the government
policy of developing chemical industry in Armenia.
Armenia will soon stop feeling the need for physics, biology, the
Armenian language and science as such.
