KAZAKHSTAN HOSTS TALKS ON PREPARATION OF CSTO JOINT DRILLS

Kazakhstan is hosting the second staff talks on the preparation of
joint drills of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO
“Interaction – 2014” that will take place in Kazakhstan this summer.
The joint drills will be held under the plan for joint operational
and combat training of management and CSTO forces and means in 2014,
Kazinform reported quoting Kazakhstan Defense Ministry’s press service.
The second round of staff negotiations are attended by representatives
of the defense ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
Russia and Tajikistan. The sides are expected to sign a protocol.
Armenia hosted joint drills in 2012.
