“We wish the co-chairs’ visit to Kalbajar and Lachin would result in
activities and actions that would yield concrete outcomes”

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. “The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’
visit to Kalbajar and Lachin is interesting for Azerbaijan, too”,
Head of Azerbaijan’s Delegation to the OSCE PA Bahar Muradova told
journalists, APA reports.

Bahar Muradova said the OSCE fact-finding mission had earlier been
in the region, taken records of the situation in the occupied lands,
the vandal actions that Armenia carried out: “Azerbaijan has long been
demanding for the visit of such a mission to the occupied territories,
because an illegal process of settlement is being carried out there.

Armenian refugees coming from Syria and Armenians coming from other
countries of the world are compulsorily settled in the occupied lands
of Azerbaijan. This contradicts international conventions. Azerbaijan
has raised this issue at various international organizations as well
as the OSCE. Now the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will pay a visit
to Kalbajar and Lachin. I believe they will once again make sure of
what we said, and they will cover these facts in their reports. We
strongly wish the co-chairs’ visit to Kalbajar and Lachin would result
in activities and actions that would bring to concrete outcomes from
the current situation and the facts recorded”.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
