ARMENIAN BRANDY PRODUCTION IN TWO MONTHS GROWS BY 1.8 % TO 2.2 MILLION LITERS
YEREVAN, April 1. / ARKA /. Production of brandy in Armenia in the
first two months of 2014 grew by 1.8 % year-on-year to over 2.2
million liters, according to the National Statistical Service.
It said also production of wine grew by 3.4% to 678,700 liters,
production of vodka increased by 1.6% to over 1.4 million liters.
Production of champagne was said to have surged by 59 percent to
50,600 liters, production of beer doubled to 1.8 billion liters and
production of soft drinks grew by 36 percent to 6.7 million liters. -0-
