Lawyer Artak Zeinalyan, who represents the complainants’ interests in
the funded pension case under the Constitutional Court’s consideration,
made a final speech.
According to him, institution of funded pensions is a risky venture.
“The extensive discretion incorporated in the law poses serious
corruption risks. We believe institution of funded pensions is a
risky venture,” he said.
“Our people’s right is to resist injustice and pressure. And the
process under way at Armenia’s Constitutional Court is the most
civilized means of resistance,” Zeinalyan said.
