working in Armenia, expects the same from Russia

YEREVAN. – Armenia is putting not obstacles to Russian citizens’
working in Armenia and expects the same from the Russian side,
secretary of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan said.

“We must present interests of our citizens to the Russian allies. Our
goal is to ensure that labor rights of the citizens of Armenia were
enforced,” Baghdasaryan said during the debates on migration issues.

At the same time he added that tightening of Russia’s migration
legislation is understandable: the country takes care about safety of
Russian citizens and does not want to accept criminals.

Baghdasaryan believes Armenia, as an ally, could get less tight
conditions for its citizens.

“There are many precedents when world states are applying different
demands to different countries,” he explained.
