ARMENIA’S TOBACCO PRODUCTION CLIMBS 38.5% TO AMD 33.6 BLN IN JANUARY-NOVEMBER

YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Armenia produced a total of 33.6-billion
dram valued tobacco goods in January-November 2013, which was 38.5%
higher from the same period of 2012, ArmStat reported.

The number of cigarettes produced in Armenia accounted to 6,847.7
million, a 44.5% increase from January-November 2012.

The Customs Service said Armenia exported cigars, cigarillos and
cigarettes worth a total of $50.7 million in eleven months of 2013,
a 2.2-time increase from the same period of the year before. ($1 –
