INMATE HAD WOUNDS AT TIME OF HIS ARRIVAL AT NUBARASHEN PRISON

The Central Investigative Unit of Armenian Police was informed by
Nubarashen penal institution on September 27, 2013 that accused
person E.V. had wounds when he arrived at the penal institution,
according to Armenia’s Special Investigation Service.

In this connection a criminal case was opened under the Criminal Code’s
Article 117 by the prosecutor’s office of Kentron and Nork-Marash
administrative districts in Yerevan. The criminal case has been
transferred to the Special Investigation Service.

An investigation is underway.
