Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. “The meeting of Azerbaijani and
Armenian presidents can give a new impetus to the solution of Nagorno
Karabakh conflict,” US Ambassador to OSCE Daniel Baer said at the
meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, APA reports.
Daniel Baer welcomed the presidents’ decision to meet and discuss
further steps for the solution of the conflict.
“It is high time to pass from words to deeds. US, as a co-chair of
the OSCE Minsk Group, will continue working with the conflicting
parties towards the peaceful solution of the conflict,” he said.
Daniel Baer also said they welcome the work done by the co-chairs
and Special Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office with the
conflicting parties.
“The negotiated, peaceful solution of the problem has no alternative,”
he said.
