Tigran Arakelyan, the Armenian National Congress activist convicted
last year over clashes with the police, has told the court that he
does not wish to be released under amnesty.

Speaking at a hearing on Wednesday, the opposition activist said he
urges only for a fair ruling over the case, Galatv.am reported.

Arakelyan was later asked to leave the courtroom in the wake of
a dispute.
