YEREVAN. – WGM Lilit Mkrtchian, who plays second board for the
Armenian national women’s chess team, married German businessman
Johannes Sperr.
`My husband was born in Dillingen city; he now lives in Leipzig. He is
a journalist by profession, but now he has set up his own business.
`We started communicating over the Internet, about 2.5 years ago.
`Everything started out between us from chess. Johannes played chess
in his teenage years. In 1984, he became the vice-champion of

my chess very much and he wished me success in my tournaments,’
