US Bans Importing Products Of Several More Armenian Companies

US BANS IMPORTING PRODUCTS OF SEVERAL MORE ARMENIAN COMPANIES

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded its list of the Armenian
companies whose products are banned in the United States.

In addition to the products of two cheese companies, the products
of several Armenian juice and confectionery companies likewise have
become banned in theUnited States.

As a result, the importing of the non-alcoholic beverages produced
by Arsen Ev Nerses LLC, in Shamb Village of Armenia’s Syunik Region,
is banned in the US as of July.

In the meantime, the “tarragon soft drink,” which is produced by Beer
of Yerevan CJSC, is banned in the US ever since September 2009.

The importing of the fruit jelly candy, which is produced by Armenia’s
Grand Candy Inc. likewise was banned during the same time period.

And the Sipan brand lemonade, which is produced by Armenia’s Sam-Har
company, is banned in the US ever since October 2011.

The ban is validated by of the presence of germs in the aforementioned
products.
