Female politicians of Armenia and Karabakh meet in Stepanakert

STEPANAKERT. – Women leaders of structures of the
Nagorno-Karabakhparliament and the government as well as the
delegation of the Women’s Council of Armenia held a meeting in the
Karabakh parliament on Saturday.

The delegation, which arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh to participate in
the celebrations of the 22nd anniversary of NKR’s proclamation,
included deputies of the Armenian parliament, members of the Yerevan
Council, chiefs of the municipality departments as well as cultural
figures, scientists and doctors.

The meeting was chaired by Vice-Speaker of the Armenian parliament,
the head of the delegation Hermine Naghdalyan and Karabakh MP Lyudmila
Barsegyan.

Hermine Naghdalyan stressed the need to establish a women’s structure
which will have no division into political parties.

The same day, a delegation of the Women’s Council of the RPA was
received by Karabakh Parliament Speaker Ashot Ghulyan.
