JUDO-CHAMPIONNATS DU MONDE
L’Armenie n’a plus aucun representant aux Championnats du monde de
judo qui se deroulent a Rio de Janeiro (Bresil). Hovhannès Davdyan
(60 kg) entra en competition dès la 1/8e de finale le 26 août. Oppose a
l’Azeri Elgar Mouchkiev -qui etait a son tour elimine en demi-finale-
l’Armenien perdait son combat et etait elimine. Armen Nazarian (66
kg), l’autre representant de l’Armenie debutait les competitions le
27 août. Après eux victoires, Armen Nazarian parvenait en quart de
finale. Mais il trebuchait face au Japonais Masaaki Fukuoka pour etre
aussitôt elimine.
