ARARAT TO COOPERATE WITH HORMOZGAN
RA deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanyan met Ebrahim Derazmisu,
governor of the Iran Islamic Republic Hormozgan region. The delegation with
the governor at the head will remain in Armenia till July 7 on the
invitation of the Ararat regional governor Alik Sargsyan.
During the meeting issues about the cooperation of the Hormozgan region with
Ararat were discussed. Representing the region, Mr. Derazmisu mentioned that
they have well-developed commercial-economical substructures, fish-farming,
tourism, and oil-processing factories.
Fields of cooperation like commerce, tourism, and export of fruits and fish
were mentioned.
At the end of the visit the governors of the two regions will sign a
memorandum about cooperation.
