The Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross
(ICRC) is aware of the incident involving Armenian soldier Hakob
Injighulyan, but has no information about his health, the ICRC Yerevan
Office told Panorama.am.

“We informed the ICRC Baku Office about the incident. However,
today is a non-working day in Azerbaijan on the occasion of Ramadan
holiday and therefore we have no information about the condition of
the Armenian soldier,” an office official said.

An Armenian soldier identified as Hakob Injighulyan, 22, crossed into
Azerbaijan’s territory losing his orientation while carrying out his
military duty around 3:00 am on August 8, according to preliminary

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
