LIBAN : L’ARMENIE NEGOCIE L’ENVOI DE SOLDATS A LA FINUL

Le porte-parole du ministère armenien de la Defense, Artsrun
Hovhannissian, annonce aujourd’hui que des ” negociations sont en
cours ” en vue d’envoyer des soldats armeniens au Liban en 2014
dans le cadre de la FINUL. Le porte-parole souligne que l’Armenie
souhaite particulièrement participer a la FINUL car le Liban compte une
importante communaute armenienne, dont le nombre ne fait qu’augmenter,
en raison du conflit syrien. Cette annonce intervient alors que le
Secretaire general de l’ONU, Ban Ki-moon, a appele hier le Conseil
de securite de l’ONU a proroger d’un an le mandat de la FINUL.
