Bako Sahakyan met with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign
Minister Leonid Kozhara in Yerevan today.
Bako Sahakyan pointed out the official Stepanakert’s commitment
to peaceful settlement of the conflict within OSCE Minsk Group
and stressed the importance of restarting the negotiation format
confirmed by the OSCE Budapest Summit. The NKR President added that
it’s impossible to reach a comprehensive settlement of the conflict
without NKR’s direct participation.
Bako Sahakyan called official Baku’s destructive policy “which is
becoming more and more dangerous” the main hindrance on the path
of settlement of the conflict. According to the NKR President,
the international community should give a relevant assessment to
Azerbaijan’s position.
