ARMENIAN MP WANTS TO EMIGRATE – NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. – Complaining to his close circles, Prosperous Armenia Party
(PAP) MP Tigran Stepanyan, who has serious business problems in recent
times, said he intends to emigrate from the country, Haykakan Zhamanak
daily reports.
“With a Court of Cassation ruling, Stepanyan is declared bankrupt,
VTB-Armenia Bank’s news service informed this yesterday [i.e.,
Thursday].
“The thing is that the PAP MP had received a loan from this bank
and could not fulfill the obligations he had assumed. [As a result,]
VTB had filed a lawsuit at the end of last year, with an involuntary
bankruptcy claim against Stepanyan.
“According to those that are close to Stepanyan, he is in deep
depression,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
