More Than 400 Armenian Citizens Are In Egypt At Moment

MORE THAN 400 ARMENIAN CITIZENS ARE IN EGYPT AT MOMENT

YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS: There has not been recorded any accident
with participation of Armenians during the meetings which take place
in Egypt. About this “Armenpress” was informed from press secretary of
the Foreign affairs ministry of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Balayan.

“At this moment more than 400 Armenian citizens are in Egypt. Some
of them have double citizenship. But we do not know yet which part
of them are tourists,” said Balayan.

Foreign affairs ministry of the Republic of Armenia advises Armenian
citizens not to visit Egypt without strict necessity taking into
consideration the events in that country. Armenian citizens who are
in Egypt are advised to avoid places of mass gatherings and in case
of a problem connect Armenian embassy in Cairo where is set a shift
with the following phone number – 202 27374157.

Egyptians demand the resignation of President Mohamad Morsi. On July 2
expired the period of ultimatum set by the opposition which demanded
the resignation of the President. And the period of ultimatum set
by Egyptian army to political forces expires on July 3. The generals
promised take the situation under their control if political leaders
do not find compromise.
