COOPERATION BETWEEN ARMENIAN AND IRANIAN DOCTORS MORE ACTIVE – DERENIK DUMANYAN

YEREVAN. – Cooperation between Armenian and Iranian doctors has become
more active, Armenian Minister Derenik Dumanyan said.

During his meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad
Reisi, the Minister pointed at exchange of information on
sanitary-epidemiological situation.

He said that the cooperation between the two health care systems is
progressing within the framework of the cooperation memorandum signed
by the ministers.

Derenik Dumanyann also referred to the issues related to cooperation in
medical, pharmaceutical, sanitary-epidemiological control, discussed
during the last year’s meeting of Armenia-Iran intergovernmental
commission.

The Armenian Ministries of Health and Education are willing to accept
the delegation of relevant ministries of the Islamic Republic.,
he assured.

In his turn, Mohammad Reisi said healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
have recently registered considerable progress in Iran.
