BRANDY PRODUCTION IN ARMENIA DOWNS 4.6% TO 4, 964,3 00 LITERS IN JAN-APR 2013

YEREVAN, June 12./ARKA/. Armenia produced 4, 964,3 00 liters of brandy
in January-April 2013 which is 4.6% lower from the analogical period
a year earlier, the National Statistical Service said Wednesday.

Wine production rose by 21.9% to 1, 660,900 liters within the reported
period.

Vodka production rose by 5.9% to 2,499,3 00 liters,
whereas champagne production climbed by 2.3 times to 69,500
liters. Armenia also produced 3, 007,400 liters of beer
(1.9% drop) and 11, 815,400 liters of non-alcohol beverages
