On Saturday morning, over 40-50 Armenians of Javakh, mostly cabmen,
held a protest near the Armenian-Georgian border complaining of the
intervention of brokers, Shirak Torosyan, Chairman of the Javakhk
Patriotic Union, a lawmaker of the Republican Party of Armenia, told
A1+.
Torosyan says that customs declarations in Armenia are filled in with
the help of brokers and no money has been levied for the process to
this date. However, a week ago brokers decided to charge entry fee
from each car in the amount of 1000 drams.
