Ukrainian pop star Gaitana, the author of the hit `Shakhtar –
Champion’ kept her promise to sing in Armenian should Henrikh
Mkhitaryan score 25 goals in the Ukrainian League. During today’s
gala concert at Donbass Arena she performed the Armenian song `Ov,
sirun, sirun’ together with Mkhitaryan.
On 26 May Shakhtar played their final game in the 2012/13 season.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal scored on 49 minutes against Metalurg
Donetsk became 50th goal for the Shakhtar midfielder in the Ukrainian
championship and the 25th goal this season.
Gaitana had earlier primsed to sing Shakhtar’s anthem in Armenian, but
said she didn’t get the Armenian translation.
