Kurdish MP Demands Truth About Armenians and Assyrians in Turkish Textbooks
YEREVAN — MP of Kurdish Party “Peace and Democracy” of Turkey Erol
Doran touched upon the issue of future changes in the history
textbooks and demanded to introduce the truth about the Armenians and
Assyrians. “Armenpress” reports about this citing Turkish
Demokrathaber.net.
Among other things Erol Doran underscored: “Turkey must prepare the
history textbook taking into consideration the international
agreements, which it has signed. There are various ethnic groups,
nations, and beliefs. Historical mistakes are made, only because only
because they want it so. Where are the Armenian events, the accidents
the Assyrians had to face with? Why don’t you tell about it all?”
