YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS. Slovak documentary-cameraman Libor
Åpimr is in a process of shooting a documentary movie about Nagorno
Karabakh. During the press conference held on April 26 Libor Åpimr
stated that by the end of May he will pay a visit to Nagorno Karabakh
and he will attempt to finish his movie during that period. As reports
“Armenpress” the Slovak documentary-cameraman underscored: “When I
visited Artsakh for the first time, I was simply impressed. The nature
was really fascinating and the people were polite and hospitable.
These all made me to shoot a movie about that magnificent place.”

Among other things Libor Åpimr noted that by shooting a movie
dedicated to Nagorno Karabakh he wants to introduce to Europe the
lifestyle and struggle of the Artsakh people against various
challenges they have to face with. In addition he stressed: “Europe
must know what a wonderful people lives in that small land and what
remarkable cultural values one can encounter there.” Also Libor Åpimr
highlighted that he has not seen such beautiful churches in any other
country of the world, as those in Artsakh.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
