The parliamentary group of Prosperous Armenia Party presented
its recommendations on an extraordinary session on post-electoral
developments to the NA Speaker. Naira Zohrabyan briefed journalists
on details, saying that their party is ready to attend any discussion
in any format on this issue. The important thing for the Prosperous
Armenia Party, according to Naira Zohrabyan, is to have a draft package
of Electoral Code reforms, to form a group of constitutional reforms
where each party will come up with their proposals.
Naira Zohrabyan said PAP has recommendations relating to the
Constitutional reforms, which she would not like to unveil now.
As to the issue on extraordinary parliamentary elections raised by
the Heritage parliamentary group, Zohrabyan said that the current
outrageous Electoral Code allows for fraud, and it is meaningless to
hold elections with the existing Electoral Code.
