RAFFI HOVANNISIAN: EPP PRESIDENT INDULGES IN ILLUSIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net – Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian has urged
the president of European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens and
U.S. President Barack Obama against preaching democracy to Armenian
people.
“Martens distorted the European values by issuing a congratulatory
address on Armenian presidential elections. I don’t indulge in
illusions. Martens does,” Raffi Hovannisian said, adding that Heritage
will review its EPP membership in the future.
Heritage leader voiced confidence for the party to leave EPP, if the
latter shares Martens’s position on Armenian presidential vote.
