ARAMAYIS SAHAKIAN DIES

A short while ago famous writer, 77-year-old satirist, writer and
publicist Aramayis Sahakian died.

Aramais Sahakyan (born in 1936, Artsvashen, Armenian SSR) is an
Armenian poet and translator.

He finished Yerevan State Pedagogical University and High literary
courses of Moscow. Editor-in-chief of satirical “Vozni” newspaper,
author of “Dzidzaghi tun” TV-programme. His works were translated
into more than 30 languages.

He was also elected NA MP.
