3,1% annual inflation rate reported in Armenia in Feb

PanARMENIAN.Net – 3,1 % inflation rate was recorded in Armenia’s
consumer market in February 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.
During the reported period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic
beverages and cigarettes) increased by 2,8%, non-foods’ prices
increased by 5,5%, with 2,3% growth in tariffs for services posted.
According to RA National Statistical Service, in Feb 2013, the
consumer prices decreased by 0.4% compared to Jan 2013, prices for
foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by
0.7%, non-foods’ prices decreased by 0,2%, with 0,1% growth in tariffs
for services posted.
Consumer prices decreased by 1,0-0,3% in Feb 2013 compared to Jan 2013
in all Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was
registered in Yeghedzor and Artashat.
2013 state budget envisages inflation 4%(±1,5%) inflation rate.
