RAFFI HOVANNISIAN DEMANDS RESIGNATION OF SYUNIK GOVERNOR

YEREVAN.- The entire population of the region demands resignation of
Syunik Governor Suren Khachatryan, former presidential candidate said.
Raffi Hovannisian arrived in Kapan, an administrative center of Syunik
Region, where Serzh Sargsyan got victory in the presidential elections,
Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.
“It is a nation-wide victory belonging to all of us. I congratulate
Kapan on the victory,” Hovannisian said, addressing his numerous
supporters in Kapan.
The governor must be respected as a person who participated in the
Karabakh war, but he must also respect the victory of people.
“You made your choice to the benefit of Armenia. We, together, demand
resignation of the governor!” he emphasized.
