Hovhannes Sahakyan (member of the ruling Republican Party) is not
aware of the global heating and does not know that there already are
apricots in Aparan, Vice Chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan
said during a press-conference on Friday.
It was a response to Sahakyan’s saying that there are no prerequisites
for an “apricot revolution” in Armenia. “He is from Aparan, so,
he is hardly aware what apricot revolution is,” Sahakyan said.
“He must have forgotten that I am from Lori, where we have plenty
of apricots. I know what a color apricots have and promise that this
summer I will take him to the village of Dzoragyugh in Aparan region
so he can see with his own eyes what apricot they in Aparan have in
August,” Martirosyan said.
