ARMENIA’S CAPITAL TO HOST A WEEK OF IRANIAN CINEMA

YEREVAN.- A series of events dedicated to 34the anniversary of the
Islamic revolution in Iran will be held in Yerevan, head of Iranian
cultural center said. Representatives of the Iranian community gathered
in blue mosque on Thursday.

Among the planned events is a football match with participation of 15
teams featuring Iranian students studying here and Iranian citizens
living in Armenia, Mehran Shiravand said.

Armenia’s capital will also host the first ever held week of Iranian
cinema. The Days of Iranian culture will open in the Painters’ Union
on February 6. A volume of stories of the Armenian authors translated
into Persian will be presented as well.
