Armenian pavilion opens at international exhibition in Japan

Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Markaryan, who is on a working visit
in Japan, today attended the opening of the Armenian pavilion at the
2005 World Expo international exhibition in Japan’s Aichi prefecture.
The Armenian pavilion opened today as the Day of Armenia was declared
at the exhibition, the press service of the Armenian government has
told Arminfo.
Andranik Markaryan welcomed the fact that the three South Caucasus
republics were represented by a single pavilion named “The
Caucasus”. The prime minister noted the importance of using scientific
and technical progress with the aim of integrating countries and
peoples.
The Armenian governmental delegation led by the prime minister will
leave for Tokyo by the end of the day. Markaryan will meet Japan’s
high-ranking officials there.
